RecommendedFirst time dining here and was a retirement celebration for a dear friend. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with the menu making this a very enjoyable and memorable evening.
My husband and I had a date night on 1/12/19. The weather was awful, but so very happy we did not cancel our reservation. Our waiter was superb, answering all of my questions about the menu, picking out an awesome cheese plate for us. The food was divine. I had the mushroom popover and my husband the lamb and scallops. Wow. Just wow. Our waiter Dillon was amazing. Explained all the dishes and was very knowledgeable. The charcuterie plate, caviar, foie gras, and duck breast confit were fantastic.

Every time I go to this place is special. The food has never failed to impress me-especially their duck. The staff is among the most attentive and welcoming I've seen, every time I've been. And the ambiance is gorgeous. I've only been a handful of times but if I could choose any restaurant in Omaha to go to on any given day it would be V Mertz.
Perfect place for a romantic dinner or just a night out for any occasion. The food is amazing and the service is excellent!! Totally love this place!
