The Uptown Arts Bar is a premier venue and platform for performing arts. Located in the hip Uptown District of Midtown, it was originally built in 1925. Over the decades it has won accolades aplenty for being the best of its kind in Kansas City. Their eclectic schedule features live music, comedy, poetry, burlesque, dance, magic, and more, by emerging and established talent. It is also a partner venue for the Fringe Festival. It can hold 150 guests and features a bar and outdoor patio.

Have you been bullied and yelled at by the guy that owns this bar and the building at 3619 Broadway KC MO where the casting director and the talent agency is located? I was there for a casting and he yelled at me for standing by his door near the bathroom. I was told he does this stuff all the time. Hit one guy in the head with the door as he pushed into the bathroom, then tried to kick him out of the building. Now the tenants of the building are taking legal action against him.
