The Uptown Arts Bar is a premier venue and platform for performing arts. Located in the hip Uptown District of Midtown, it was originally built in 1925. Over the decades it has won accolades aplenty for being the best of its kind in Kansas City. Their eclectic schedule features live music, comedy, poetry, burlesque, dance, magic, and more, by emerging and established talent. It is also a partner venue for the Fringe Festival. It can hold 150 guests and features a bar and outdoor patio.

fun, fancy, fantastic, freaky, fascinating, fruitful, frisky, flavorful, far-fetched and favorable.
My son just played at the bar and they stiffed him. This place is a dive.They are rude and condescending .It really a shame. I am going to do everything in my power to warn people off this place until they make good on their debts.They even went so far as listing the talent as One Eyed Willy.....Freaking Shameful

always amazing! the staff is wonderful and hella nice.
I have had 3 (4 including this Saturday) here so far. The staff was real helpful. They are a big asset to the arts community. Taishi Studios is very proud to host our events here. Thank you very much for your support.
