RecommendedWas at UPMC Northwest for surgery on 3/19/19, to have my left kidney removed. I was released on 3/23. Everyone, from the surgical team, to the nurses and support staff of 3 West were the best. They made a frightening experience in dealing with kidney cancer seem like it effected them as much as it did me. I can never thank them enough for their kindness and support.
they will not allow me to see my doctor because they are not in a upmc facility which sucks. if I could change insurance and avoid this monopoly company all together I would. it is a disgrace to use patients as pawns.
I have Blue network. Only specialized care for me is at UPMC. Now I have to pay $200 co-pay for every visit. They shouldn't be non profit whatsoever. In fact I hope Jeffrey Romoff burns in Hell.
UPMC doctors offices NEVER answer their phones anymore you cannot ever get ahold of anybody you want to make an appointment too bad so sad you have to leave a message. I've been with UPMC for probably 30 years or more and I'm ready to switch to anybody else because this whole new phone answering system makes people feel like crap that aren't cared about. you do not care about your patients if you did there wouldn't be such a stupid answering system there would be a person who answers the phone that you could talk to. I am a current patient at UPMC trying to find another doctor at another hospital dr. Malik at UPMC refuses to give me my anti-rejection medication I have not had it in over a month now. dr. Malik needs to change his name to dr. kill'em
just got different insurance in jan ‘19 and had to search for a pcp went to one i know . took them 3 months to let me know the one dr is retiring and the other dr stated with my health to go to internal medicine . so why did it take 3 months to do this . very sad . plus i have called over 8 other family practice and not accepted any patients and since both hospitals are having a fight no body is really winning especially the patients upmc should get me a refund of my premium for 3 months they wasted
Because of this nonprofit greed my copay is now $200.00 This is ONLY hospital that can treat me. now it looks like I might just move. F you UPMC.
Unfortunately I've had many procedures and stays at UPMC Horizon in Farrell, Pa. Everyone there are awesome at their jobs. My stays have ranged from a few hours to over a month. I couldn't ask for a better place to have work done and for rehab.
