UPMC wanted my contact information after I left a poor comment about my dealings with them. I promptly gave it to them. Here we are 10 days later I haven't heard a word from them. When the hospitals begin to put the patient before their stupid rules, regulations, company policies. They have no worries if they put the patient first. Everything would be in the best interest of the one there for care!
Hate this place now!! Dr. Shahazd Ahmad and his team are the worst!! Avoid at all cost!! I have dealt with hospitals my whole life due to my Crohn's disease and I'm usually private with how I feel about certain situations but not this time. I honestly believe I may save someone's life!! I'm in this place as I post hoping to be transferred!! So please � Run.. don't walk your family out the doors!!
I have been trying to get hold of a certain doctor in your facility, calling from overseas - I keep being transferred from one place to another. Nobody seems to respond to e-mail and those I have managed to speak to on the phone tell me that I need to send a fax in order to receive an e-mail address?
I am a chronic severe pain patient. I went to pain management have all the medical documentation that would be needed to prove my condition. Due to so called opioid crisis they have told all doctors not to prescribe opioids to chronic pain patients I need to have two shoulders and two knees replaced and have stenosis in my neck but yet no prescribed pain meds. Im at high risk for colon cancer. My sister was diagnosed at 33. Im 37.I was told i had to get screened. Upmc wont cover the cost of the colonoscopy due to my age not being over 50! Wont cover prevention but would cover my $$$ in cancer bills if i ever get it. What a joke
