UPMC Jameson is understaffed and does not have sufficient capacity for the city of New Castle and surrounding townships. Being admitted does not guarantee a bed. Some admission remain in the ER until discharge. ER nurses must care for admitted patients in the ER, as well as emergency patients, leaving some patients unattended for hours. Do not take a loved one to UPMC Jameson unless you can stay to advocate for them.
I am trying to reach them to find out what they know about Erosive Lichen Planus and how to treat it. I have had it for 16yrs now and am on 40 mil of Predisone. My bottom gum is almost totally gone and half of the top one. I also have and ma being plagued by terrible pain in right side of my head. After 3 previous doctors that were unable to fix my ankle after 6 months I decided to go to UPMC. Within 3 visits with Dr. Kline I am walking out of my air cast. Something I haven’t been able to do for 7 months now. I can’t begin to explain how much I appreciate the care and concern he gave me. He listened and went out of his way to make sure every question was answered and understood. Thank you!
