If you are the Parent/Caregiver for a Special Needs adult or child, I would not recommend this institution.
UPMC Pres. is the best hospital I have ever set foot in, and their care for my love one was extraordinary. Everyone I have spoke to is kind, helpful, and they make you feel at home.
Maybe give someone a chance to pay a bill before you turn it in to collections.
Unprofessional is an understatement! I’m a shame to have UPMC has my health insurance. The way your staff treated that man in the video is unacceptable. And I’m sure other patients have been treated poorly. Investigations need to be done so the report can shed light on how your staff treats mental health Patients. I showed the video to my doctor who works for UPMC and she is disgusted in what she saw! Sad and shameful. I watched your start member assault a patient tonight. I urge everyone to not attend..
if it wasn’t for a particular doctor who doesn't rush with patients I’d boycott upmc for their terrible approach to patient care. I bet my provider gets in trouble for wait times because UPMC expects a patient encounter to take 30 minutes. There is terribly unrealistic time restrictions placed on UPMC providers. Maybe hire more practitioners?..... Customer serice people are great but terrible customer management. Getting someone to answer the phone is hard and purposefully cumbersome by the company.
