These guys are a joke. They have had to “reprocess” this claim 3 times due to their inadequacies. We’re going on 4 months now. They advised that I could set up an account online to see information. I’ve never had luck. Not to mention you have to set it up EXACTLY how it is in their system. But I never knew they spelt my sons name wrong so I can’t access anything. The manager in member services told me she was the worst IT person in the world and she could get it to set up. Insulting your members isn’t the way to go. So the o... read more
My lord I've never been blown away by bad service before... but you guys for sure found a way to. Could it be from the misdiagnosis @ 3:15pm telling us nothing to worry about, then receiving a phone call an hour later stating "they should have never let you go home". Or was it from when we got into the room after returning at the doctors order, still you had no idea we were admitted and staying over night for monitoring. Might of been from the blood left over from a previous patient on a "clean" sheet. Well could've been whe... read more

Ok so first I will say the tag was friendly- I am dropping a family member off for admission- he is being admitted and tested COVID positive-I have been here over 3 hours and no one will take his med list from me. He doesn’t know it and apparently they cannot take the paper I have for them-I have to wait for the admission nurse. If I had not come in an N95 this would be infuriating! Why would you want to continue to expose me???-this can lead to MORE positive cases! Come on people! They didn’t even give the nurse an N95 unti... read more

I had spent all day into the evening in the Surgical Family Lounge at UPMC Shadyside during my husband’s surgery, and he was admitted afterward. I was charging my phone in the lounge when I got the call he was finally in a room, so I hurriedly unplugged my phone, got his belongings from a locker and went up to his room. I ended up spending the night at The Family House across the street (a wonderful convenience for family members), and it was around 10pm in the hotel when my phone was very low on battery and I realized I lef... read more

Thanks so much for the kind words, Bridget! We'll be sure to pass this along to the team. Take care!
You are shutting a vital health care clinic in rural PA and expect people to drive hours every week for necessary care and redo expensive testing in the middle of a pandemic. You have no concern for the hundreds of patients who are now lacking doctors and the regular shots they require. Or the staff losing jobs in a pandemic. I wouldn't recommend you to anyone.
UPMC IS A 3.5 OUT OF 5, BUT TO ME IT IS A 0/5 WORST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE, LIKE SOME SORT OF A LIVING NIGHTMARE. CANCER CARE AND SURGERY TWICE IN THE PAST 8 YEARS, A TOTAL OF THREE YEARS ON CHEMO, SO I AM MORE THAN AQUAINTED WITH THIS MENACE. I AM A FORMER EMPLOYEE, RN. IT HAS BECOME DIABOLICAL WITH UPMC AS A MEGA PROVIDER. I HAVE FRIENDS THAT WERE PHYSICIAN AND THEY LEFT BECAUSE IT IS IMPOSSIBLE THERE. UPMC SCREWS UP ON THEIR BILLING, AND YOU ARE THEN LEFT UP THE CREEK WITHOUT A PADDLE, NO ONE WILL LISTEN TO YOU. THE ONLY WAY... read more
