UPMC's treatment of staff and refusal to adhere to state mandates during a global pandemic is absurd and disgusting. Their actions prove they don't actually care about their enployees' well-being and the potential impact of their employee abuses on their patients.

treatment is horrible, everyone has attitudes and they do not care about anything other than what they can bill. definitely always feel worse as a patient because of way I am treated. I am a patient to ghar t wishing I had somewhere else to go but UPMC likes their monopoly. Don't trust them at all, almost killed me twice. My own persistence us what saved me.

I once trained here and was proud to be at UPMC-but now I am ashamed of the organization. Its not the staff I blame but the greedy administrators who continued elective surgeries and utilizing supplies needed by others.

Not doing elective surgeries in a pandemic would be great!

Why? Because they aren’t Stopping elective procedures in a time of national crisis. Preserve Masks, gloves etc for frontline responders to the corona epidemic and for patients. Not for greedy people doing non- urgent elective procedures.

Life Ending Medicine. I called the office of the physician I have seen for the last 30+ years. He has since retired. I sat on hold for 35+ minutes and when the operator answered, asked questions, and asked which Dr. I see, I told her that he has retired. She would not have a DR. call me and gave me the number to Allegheny County Health Department. I will no longer go to any UPMC Dr.'s or facilities. This is how they treat patients. Again Life Ending Medicine!

UPMC is not collaborating with independent media sources. They are purposely exposing staff to COVID-19 and refuses to let them wear PPE. Horrible hospital and needs shutdown.
