They are playing God. Here in Erie they have vaccines for the public. I fall within in the state and CDC guidelines but they turned me away. I am insulin diabetic, immune suppressed, metal rod in my leg from ankle to hip, high blood pressure and in a wheelchair. But they would not vaccinate because I am only 64 1/2 years old. The US government paid for the vaccine and I fall within the state and CDC guidelines and UPMC denied a vaccine. All I can say UPMC shame on you. You pick and choose and change the rules.

How about speed over 2 hrs for a sit down appt that took ten min not bad a breathing test ounce again not long at all. Rest of the two hrs Wait time just to have doctor walk in to tell me I may need a cat scan as may have pnemonia. But it really took that long just to figure it out. Plus the test time and wait for results again. I knew appointment was at lunch time didn't know I was going to spend dinner here to. What's a patient got to do to get some speed in the darn place.

Business response:

UPMC has a C.A.R.E. Networks on the TV, offering 2 stations that play calming music with peaceful, serene pictures. The one station integrates guided meditations with the music. I absolutely love meditating, guided meditations & my yoga practice🌞🧘🏻‍♀️💙🦋 Last night, I had the opportunity to do guided meditations regarding self acceptabce thru adversity & disability, focusing on loss of body parts & loss of function. Directly following was one for chronic pain. Which are issues I have worked on my entire journey with T1 d... read more

While I said yes, they do need to fix a couple of things. especially with covid. My 15 yr old who has had the same doctor since birth can not have a virtual appt. because you ready for this.. He has to go into the office to sign a letter of proxy for me to be able to answer the phone for him to have a video phone call with the doctor. I then say but you won't let people into your office to do anything and she says yeah, sorry. I said so my son who is sick can not see his doctor and can not do a video call from a doctor that ... read more

They are the absolute worst and their doctors literally don’t care for their patients. Coming from myself and my family. I had an appointment a couple months ago, the doctor refused to answer my questions and told me not to worry about it. On another note, she wanted all these things done but, clearly didn’t listen to me from several months before that. Now, left with this bill they told me that was paid off but, now I have to pay. What was I paying insurance for. For the doctor I went to she should not be a doctor and needs... read more
