Look into any Uplift schemes very carefully - all the officers previous careers any liquidated companies owing creditors or unscrupulous activities? Rent to rent schemes pay commission for unnecessary brokers to find less than ideal tenants evicted council ones etc for landlords - also lease to rent mortgages can be a hairy ride with the freeholders upper hand ....
