Unbelievable Service Department! I switched over to Herzog Meier VW from Armstrong VW after talking to Kyle. Kyle has been fantastic to work with. The level of customer service is on a whole different level here and the technicians seem far more capable as well. Overall the experience there is great. Armstrong VW is less than 5 miles from my office and I still will continue to work with Kyle and Herzog Meier.
Great Service Department My service rep Mike went out of his way to fix a headlight that was out (not one of the reasons I brought the car in) and this was very close to closing time. I travel to Herzog-Meier from West Linn because I like the service department and bring both of my Passats there. I have always been pleased with the service.
Service department - multiple problems! Had a very unfortunate and disappointing experience. After 4 days they could not diagnose my car's problem. I got conflicting reports and comments from the tech (mechanic) and the service manager. When I asked to speak with the tech and look at the car with him, he kept us waiting and then emerged obviously irritated and short tempered. Herzog-Meier is out to rip you off! So Friday there was black ice all over Hillsboro. I was in my 98' mk3 jetta, and slid into a curb. I parked my car at my work, and the fallowing day tried to find a shop to fix it. I am new in the area and looked around and no one is open on saturday/sunday. The dealership was so I called, and Mike who is one of the biggest tools I have ever talked to by the way. He said that they can look at it same day bring it okar. Okay. AWESOME!!! I bought my car here and they were extremely helpful and never once asked me if I WAS going to by a car or not. They showed me the car I wanted in every color they had on the lot. They explained all the functions of the car to me. They worked with me on the price. They were VERY friendly there. I would go back there if I bought another VW. I highly recommend them!
Unsafe service department- don't believe the hype My 2001 VW Jetta has been serviced here a handful of times since relocating to Portland this summer. Initially I came in for a check engine light which turned out to be an exhaust problem. H-M replaced the catalytic converter under extended warranty at no cost and I was very pleased, but they found a few other things that were possibly out of order, the important ones of which I decided to pay to have fixed- this included a tire rotation I could have done myself, but figured ... read more
Outstanding Staff and Affordable I am really enjoying the 2006 Mini Cooper I bought from Herzog-Meier. It is a great, fun car. Everything I was looking for and a great price. I would rate everything and everyone I dealt with at Herzog-Meier a 5 out of 5. Richard was very easy to deal with and I felt like he did the best job he could do with what I was looking for. I also really enjoyed dealing with Dave in the financial department, he was very informative and helpful.
Finally a Service Department You Can Trust! I have never had a "repair guy" I could trust in regards to my car. Having worked as a service writer for a short time I understand the stresses of the job and as a customer that it can be hard to find a trustworthy person to deal with when handing over your keys. Chris Savage at Herzog-Meier has definitely earned my trust and my business for routine service of my Mazda. Fantastic Service Experience Herzog-Meier has the most comfortable waiting area I have ever been in. Mike came to tell me my car was ready, but I stayed an additional 30 minutes to finish the DVD I brought to watch. Thanks for the comfy couch!
