Sales department is wonderful The entire sales department is wonderful! Everyone took such good care of me and helped me get into the car I wanted. They treated me with respect and honesty and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Mike was so pleasant I was visiting family in the abq area and accompanied them on a test drive at university vw. The salesman, Mike Boddy, was so pleasant (patient, not pushy at all!) That I ended up purchasing a new beetle from him and driving it back to az! If you have always dreaded the experience of buying a new car-you won't anymore after working with mike!
Perfect car We had an amazing buying experience with Mike B. Mike was very personable and knowledgeable about the vehicles we looked at. He was honest when he wasn't positive about specific questions we had and always talked to his team to get the answer. He made us feel comfortable and didn't pressure us into making a decision. great service I don't always go to the dealer, but my expierences at University have been great. There nice and helpful always help me to understand what needs to be done and why. Other dealers have been less upfront...
Very considerate The people in service are great!! I have a 2009 Tiguan and also a 2005 Conv beetle. They are always willing to help me and explain things in a way I can understand. I don't live in Albuquerque and travel in from out of town they are great about getting my car in to get it worked on and are very considerate of my time and the distance I travel. Service Department Sucks I have purchased two vehicles from this dealer. The sales staff are not a problem. The problem is the service department. The VW side has a lot of factory certified technicians on staff, there's a reason for that, the Mazda side has one, this came from someone who was eager to sell a Mazda to me over a VW. She was trying to say that Mazda is more reliable, well, so far that is true but I have warranty cosmetic issues with the interior and have to wait a very long time to get it serviced. Probably my best car I bought a 2013 VW Beetle Turbo form University VW. It is a great car! The sales associate who helped me was Nick Walker. I could not have asked for a more helpful and professional sales person. Nick answered all my questions and walked me through the whole car buying process, in a friendly and helpful manner. Unlike most car sales people, Nick never tried pressure tactics to get me to hurry and buy a car or buy something that wasn't right for me. Mr. Boddy was a a great sales person Mike is great! We came in today looking for a new car for my wife and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable regarding the products offered by Volkswagen.
