Great area for downtown Portland activities and for walking to the waterfront. My family recommended this "safe nice" place after we found it online. I DO plan on returning!
Enjoyed Everything! – We enjoyed everything... From Willy at the counter to Mr. Pierre taking us to this hotel and back to the airport. Close to everything was perfect. Our daughter will be attending PSU so we will be back staying here again.

Hospitable & Helpful – We have found the staff at University Place to be very friendly, hospitable and helpful. We're very pleased to be staying here. I would especially like to mention the (Russian?) lady who has been cleaning our room. She has been excellent. Very much appreciated.
