Am 59 years old and have been going here since I was 20. 39 years of excellent care. Love my current pcp Dr. Lisa Vansaghi and also my liver specialist dr Gilroy.
I found University of Kansas Medical Center very organized helpful staff great nurse the double rooms are a little small cramped quarters I realize they are a very busy hospital overall I very pleased with my stay here.
Dr. Carl Wiener (Center for Advanced Fetal Care) - No words can possibly describe how grateful my family is for his work. He will always be the one to say he was just doing his job... However, in our eyes his work saved our unborn babies life. If you're told elsewhere that there are no options... I highly recommend you make an appointment here. Can't say much, just that I'm here today because of the Doctors and especially the Nurses. Sorry for give you guys so many issues. I got a few more years thanks to you guy. I was able to ad to my family thanks to you guys. I just wanted to say thank you
Would never ever think of going to any other hospital. We credit the Doctors at KU with saving my husbands life more than once in the past 3 years. He has always received the best of care and compassion from the Doctors, nurses, social workers, food service, janitorial services and everyone in between.
The peds unit and pic-u have both been great in taking care of me. The nurses and docs are all supportive and try to make my stay here in the hospital as comfortable as they can. :) I wouldn't want it any other way! Definitely recommend KU for anyone with health issues!! You Wont be dissapointed.
