Everything went well except had to wait in exam room a little long. But otherwise the dr and staff was wonderful.
We have major issues with the transplant team, but the rest of the hospital have been very good.
After my accident at work, my left forarm and hand was in jeopardy. I was life flighted to the IU Medical Center with 8 broken bones 4 in the hand and 4 in my forearm, along wit tissue, nerve, and tendent damage. My team of trauma, hand and plastic, along with the ER, Truma, and supporting departments more than I can count worked diligently to save my hand. They are saving my mom. That means the world to me.
All staff very friendly. Many asked while walking to my clinic if I needed help getting to the clinics I was visiting that day. Receptionist, nurses, all do such a great job.
When I went into labor at just 31 weeks pregnant everyone kept telling me how my baby would be in amazing hands in the NICU. I now have my own first hand experience that the NICU at Iowa is wonderful. I never once worried that they wouldn't be able to take care of my son. Greatful for the friendly staff and nurses that never gave me a hard time for all my questions!
Only care about money only getting a kid in and out few nice nurses WORST doctors!!! Thought this was a children's hospital. Disappointed
