Awesome doctors and staff! So considerate and helpful before, during and after my son's surgery!
It took some time to get an appointment with orthopedic department but I had wonderful experience when I had my right hip replacement done in 2012. I got in quicker this time and they are working with setting up appointment to do the left one now. Hoping everything goes as well as the first one.
My son gets great care here. He had multiple tests done on our last visit and every person explained to him what was happening and didn't just talk to me, the parent. The staff engaged him and answered his questions when he had them. They were compassionate. When he had his turn with his doctor, he was there with us. You don't feel rushed and all of your questions get answered. You know what the plan or next steps are when you leave. The way he/we are treated and the progress he has made makes it worth the drive.
I had brain surgery here with Dr Howard in April. All went well - he was very professional. I'm also thankful that he encouraged me to join a research study. I'm very pleased with the care I have gotten here.
The staff at U of I Hospitals and Clinics is incredible. They are helpful, kind and compassionate. Thank you for taking such good care of my dad. Big thanks to the nurses on 6JCW!
I sat 5 hours in the waiting room after being referred by a quick care unit. Just to be put on bed in the hall for another hour. Four other people that arrived after me were let in before me. Thankfully my issue ended up not being as serious as first thought. When i was finally seen 6 hours later the service was great. The Dr was great and did a great job.
I've had great service for myself but don't agree with the pay to park.
