All excellent staff members, from my surgeon to techs and nurse. On pre-op day I moved through every department swiftly. All were kind,professional, and supportive. On surgery day, again on time. The team at Oncology/gyne were the best. Anesthesia team outstanding. The nurse were wonderful, I never had to wait for anything. Rock stars !
Patients have to pay for parking, what? Also staff is completely unorganized, uninformed, and not knowledgeable about their own jobs! Hopefully we never have to return.

Dr. Peter Nau is an awesome caring Dr. His bedside manner is filled with compassion. He certainly makes your health concerns his number one priority. His team is just as amazing. The nurses I have had are doing great by explaining things. However...When I call for an aide or nurse, it takes somewhere between 30 & 45 minutes before one arrives. Busy I understand but I'm a patient that is in need of help. I LOVE THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA HOSPITAL & CLINIC!
We had a couple of great nurses but everyone else we had to deal with were awful. We won't be back up here again.
Words can't explain why they get five stars in my book.
Even though I was in tremendous pain at the burn unit the staff was amazing.
The staff, students and volunteers went above and beyond to make our time very comfortable. Couldn't have asked for better care for my son!
Nothing but the best. We moved back here from Las Vegas to obtain our health care here. I have been coming to the Neuroendocrine Cancer Center since 2013 and as soon as my husband and I retired we immediately relocate so all our health needs are with University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. They truly are the best as far as we are concerned.
