Very2 good and clean
The hospital is huge and a little intimidating.. but all of the staff are very helpful & if you aren't sure where you are someone always asks if you need help. I would recommend this hospital to everyone. The nursing staff 2nd floor in the pediatrics are wonderful!

Unbelievable. We've been sitting in the waiting room for an hour and 20 minutes now for the gastrointestinal center. I was told I was next 30 minutes ago. No explanation or notification that they were running behind even though they apparently knew they were running significantly behind. I've had 2 children with me and drove one hour to get here and they just NOW asked if I wanted to reschedule. Being a healthcare provider myself, this is unacceptable. Horrible service and still waiting. I won't be back.
Dr.Elizabeth Takacs is my Urologyst and she is one of the most Kind Doctors I know. She in my mind has saved my life, by taking the time to listen to me and Care for me. Without her I would still be having major bladder problems. You are Amazing Doctor Takacs and I thank you for everything you have done for me.
I just want it all over I don't want my family and friends to worry about me I don't feel well at this moment and would love prayers in God's name Amen! I want too beat this!
My granddaughter had 3 surgeries there when she was 15 and the doctors and nurses and students were so awesome. Never had a problem with any of them..they listened to her when she suggested things to them and made her feel like she was part of the team. Can never thank the staff enough for helping my granddaughter! Lots of love for them!
I was a student at the U of Iowa Hospital during the late 70's early 80's. My son was in the NICU for several months in the early90's. I have so many great memories! A wonderful place.
