My husband went in for knee replacement June 25, 2020. Our temps were taken at the door and we were told to use hand sanitizer. Went in waiting room, where there were about 6 other people waiting. While my husband was back having surgery, not once did anyone come in and wipe down the chairs that were previously occupied. Others came in and sat in the same chairs? Just because they sanitized when they entered, that means they were safe from the on out? Also no drinks were permitted, but that didn't stop anyone from coming in ... read more

Went into the ER today due to headaches, high fever and some other symptoms I had. I was tested for COVID by my doctor on Tuesday (still no results). I checked into the ER at 12:30 and didn’t get discharged until 7. My nurse came into my room ONCE. They took a chest x ray and it took 3 hours for any results. They took blood and never once went over any results... I found those through myChart! I had a nurses assistant come into my room telling me I was going upstairs to be admitted ... mind you I had NOT seen the doctor yet.... read more
Today I witnessed a patient bleed on a chair in the waiting room and it not get cleaned up. I know for sure the staff was aware of the mess yet nobody did anything about it. I then saw a man come sit down in that same seat wearing white pants about 30 minutes later. Check the cameras. Was around 1245pm.
Lab Outreach - Piedmont Athens Regional Campus I HOPE YOU GUYS SEE THIS AND KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT OKAY!!! THEY TOOK BLOOD WEDNESDAY A TUBE FULL. WRAPPED HER FOOT SUPER TIGHT BC IT WAS SUPER RED WHEN I TOOK IT OFF. THURSDAY SHE HAD TO GET MORE DRAWN AND I ASKED COULD SHE PLEASE DO THE OTHER FOOR. SHE SAID NO. SHE WRAPPED IT UP SUPER TIGHT AGAIN. WHEN I REMOVED THE WRAP THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE AND ITS GETTING WORSE AND BLISTERING UP!! YALL PLEASE SHARE THIS SO THEY CAN SEE IT BC THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!
RecommendedI was admitted to the Heart and Vascular unit on 6/30 and received excellent care. The nursing staff and doctors were so caring and efficient. I felt they cared for me as an individual.... not just another patient. This helped me to be calm and not stressed as the events occurred. My heartfelt thanks to each one who participated in my care❤️
Well let me tell y’all about yesterday ... I came in to Piedmont Rockdale with a migraine so bad I couldn’t walk or see .. I was told no visitors allowed which was ok if I was going to be helped by medical staff.. Well Caleb in ER was far from helpful! He pulled up a wheelchair and said sit .. no assistance whatsoever .. I get to the desk and like I said I couldn’t even see so I asked if my mom could sign for me as she was in the car waiting.. Sitting here in the ER waiting room, think I had a stroke or brain aneurysm. The staff is sitting in groups having pow wows while nobosy is being taken back. Guy next to me said hes been waiting for over 3 hours. Stop calling yourselves hero's, hero's actually help people. Young girl came in screaming and crying about pain in her side. She fell onto the floor, the staff let her lay there writhing in pain for 4 minutes before they actually yelled at her, told to get off the floor then 2 of them grabbed her writs and feet, pic... read more
