Place is a joke, had to wait for a whole lot of nothing, such a waste of time, signed myself out went to another hospital and got what was wrong taken care of in less the time I was there waiting at ummc
Went on Saturday night waited 4 hours in excruciating pain!! Ended up leaving!! They were bringing other people in who showed up after me!! Lost a lot of respect for that place and the people working that night!!
I entered the hospital around 7pm Saturday in excruciating pain was told I would have to wait 3 ambulances were in front of me. At about midnight got told I had to be admitted , got taken to my room about 1:15 am and a nurse didn't come into my room until 1:53am after I had to hit the panic button 2 times. When people are sick or in pain their should be enough staff to take care of them individuals at all time without waiting especially when they are in severe pain or sick.
They were very accommodating and ensured I was comfortable at all times! Every interaction was great! They even made sure my wife was comfortable and got a free drink while waiting! Had a great experience there. Well as great as you can having surgery.
I was just there June 5th, to have my tubes tied... The nurses were so nice... my doctor was very gentle with me.
