I only went there for a MRI and it was on a Saturday and registered through ER and then into XRay and anyone I came into contact with was very pleasant and made sure that I knew where I was going. Such a nice change from what I am used to at other facilities!! Thank you UMMC!
Nurses were fantastic. Dr. Jaeger did my procedure, and was wonderful as always.
I've been here before and the care was not as good as it is now, I feel more comfortable with the nurses and Dr's here, the aides are all very nice too, better care and more thorough
This was the first time I ever had a need to go to UMMC ER. The nurses were wonderful. The PA that was assigned to me listened, and did what was needed to help me feel well enough to get me on my way. My Pain Dr. sent me there after an appointment with her. She called the physician on staff and explained what was needed. I don't see this in many ER's. The staff dr.'s near my home don't want to hear from an outside physician. I don't know what is: going on yet for I can figure its to some Baines that need replacing in my legs.
My mother in law just spent 5 days in the hospital. The staff was amazing....every person we had contact with was nice and helpful. She was initially very confused and the staff was extremely patient and thoughtful. I was allowed to spend every night with her. Nobody "likes" being in the hospital, but the 2nd floor staff made her stay so much better. I can not say enough nice things about the staff at this hospital!
