This family has been fans of RGH for decades. My husband wouldn't go anywhere else. My children, now adults, received wonderful care there. And my husband spent 54 years working in EMS CARING FOR OTHERS, and deserves far better. 6800 is a HELL HOLE! I would not send my DOG there! The medical staff are kind but grossly understaffed and overworked. Call bells are rarely answered within 20 minutes or more. My husband has a broken vertebrae & a broken arm, and he's sitting in his chair like a lump, not receiving nearly enough at... read more

Someone very close to me went to the emergency room here for having a dangerously high heart rate 248 bpm and weakness and shaking uncontrollably. She had bloodwork show that she has a hyperthyroidism. Apparently they didn’t think it was concerning enough to prescribe her any kind of medicine for it or do anything for her other than tell her to make an appointment with her primary care doctor to get more testing done and they sent her home incredibly weak and still shaking. Been a patient for a few years. Always hard to get an appointment. They don't seem to understand the concept of a "wait list". Their answer - YOU call every day and see if there is an opening. I paid via credit card at the end of each appointment. Yet a week later I would get a bill in the mail. Again - had to call in to fix issue. Had a problem during NY lock down. Talk to my dentist, said I would be on the short list when they opened again. Had to call again (they never call me...) in early June. Pain was a 7/10 at this po... read more

My father has been in since Sunday. I'm not allowed to visit so just who is advocating for him? No one! He asks for water and doesn't get it for 2 hours! Unacceptable! He needs breathing treatments in a timely manner or he gets worse. He's getting them an hour or better late. Unacceptable! I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Unity Hospital DELETES reviews when it's not a positive visit & BLOCKS people for even having an opinion.Taking down negative reviews is pretty suspicious as well. what else is this place hiding? How about act like a professional space so you dont have to worry about deleting anyone's review on how bad their experience was at your hospital? Unity is an absolute joke.
