why don't I recommend UMMC? Personal experience, knowledge of others and misdiagnoses....the list goes on and on. It isn't "busy" because most of us know do not go there!

the er is quick and little to no wait time. once in the er the drs and staff r quick
The ER nurses I had seen Wednesday evening were horrible and every unprofessional..If they’re that miserable they picked the wrong profession esp when they were treating my daughter who was the patient like sh$t .. Why give my daughter a disgusting face while she’s sick throwing up!? And make stupid comments about her belly button ring.. when it’s none of your business!? Def looking further into this!
Call backs slow if ever. scheduling of test - terrible if you need right away - they don’t care - what your Dr requests. Rooms dirty - housekeeping hit and miss. Meals a total joke - order what you want - eat what they send. Nurses great but overworked and under staffed. Had no air conditioning for 2 days - offered no fans. And don’t even think about asking me about billing. I would recommend staying away from anything dr or hospital under Rochester Regional umbrella.
My mother is in the hospital now. She was taken there via ambulance. She was seen right away, diagnosed and in ICU in 2 hours, can't say that about any other hospital. The ICU nurses were wonderful. Very caring. When moved to a regular room the staff was so great. They treated her with the respect she deserves, took great care of her. The doctor spoke with us several times regarding concerns over her health. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. Thank you all.
ER was rude I left. Ask about patient V00002405037 Don’t bill my insurance for this rude bunch of professionals . One on phone making apartment hunting info and the other on computer. Told to either go sit down or leave. I left
The ER has misdiagnosed 2 of my kids. Once the Dr. smuggly told me my son only had a bug but I insisted she was wrong. They sent me to Children's to find out he had Intussusception.
