I am a retired RN,30+ years hospital experience.UHC employs a HUGE number of people who call customers unnecessarily and repeatedly-my husband and I get calls weekly. Some idiot thinks this makes them look like they care; I submit they waste their dollars there rather than just covering actual health costs. The calls are reminders to get scripts refilled(duh) or- get this-offers to assign a ‘personal’ nurse to check up regularly on perfectly healthy customers. You can tell them not to call;they persist. What a waste of $! Just ... read more

I just wanna shout it out to UnitedHealthcare . Because of you I sit here another night without a medication that I need. It should never come to this. Someone with a medical diagnosis should never not have access to their medication. But sadly, this isn't the first time this has happened to me. And I can only imagine it is happening to others as well, others who have way worse medical conditions than me. I dropped my prescriptions off at the pharmacy yesterday, pretty routine. All are medications I've been getting filled fo... read more

THIS REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT UNITED HEALTH CARE, IT IS ABOUT THEIR VENDOR OPTUMRX - In May 2017, I registered with OptumRx online pharmacy based on information recommendation for prescription savings from United Healthcare. I was asked for credit card information after giving doctor and medication information. I was told they couldn't process card and was not given a reason. Supervisor gave agent permission to submit order without credit card and I was told to pay online when meds arrived. Two months later and no meds delivered.... read more

First off, I never write reviews but I felt like this was absolutely necessary and that people need to know the truth about this company. I am a student at the University of Nebraska and due to unfortunate reasons I have to pay for my own health insurance. Luckily, UNL offers student insurance plans, which I have had since I was a freshman, and am now in my senior year. Previously, UNL went through Blue Cross Blue Shield which was hands down the best insurance I have ever dealt with, and never had a single problem. However, ... read more
United Healthcare sent me two letters claiming that they paid money to me through Electronic Funds Transfer. I never had any direct deposit information with United Healthcare and now their resolution center is now giving me the runaround. The agent said he found it very strange that i would have direct deposit when no such information is in my profile.
I went to two VA compensation exam with LHI the first one the Nurse practitioner said my shoulder that had surgery previously was now perfect... the check bounced for the travel pay on my second exam...terrible.
Terrible company!! As a provider who contracts with them and is all about providing for my patients the best I can; LHI could not care less about me or the patients, it is all about the mighty buck and being a goiter on the VA. They are a very childish and petty company who needs to grow up and actually be involved with what they are doing and who they are serving.
United Health Care sent a letter threatening to cut off insurance which they contractually obligated to provide, unless the covered recipient went online and selected a website option that DID NOT EXIST. When called, the supervisor admitted that the threatening letter demanded that clients go to the user access website to select an option that was in boldface in their threatening letter, yet did not exist on the website. Covered clients were threatened with discontinued prescription coverage unless they did something that was... read more
