I truly appreciate the rapid return of electric service this morning!!
Everyone is friendly at URE but I have never paid so much for electric service in my life. I have a relatively small house with no outside lights and my electric service is almost 5 times what others are paying. I use LED bulbs and have a new heat pump but that doesn't help when there is a generation fee, a transmission fee and a distribution fee. I have asked to know how much I am paying per kw/hr but have yet to get a response. National average is .12 per kw/hr but everyone I have checked with is paying way less than that,... read more
The URE crew that responded to power outage due to car accident on Raymond Rd. last night was awesome. Thanks for all your hard work replacing broken pole and getting power back on!!!
Absolutely HATE having URE. The electric bill is always double what it was with DP&L. Smaller house now and same size family. Tell me where that makes since. Power goes out several times a week with no reason. I think it is just so URE can make more money while the air conditioner is running constantly to get the house cooled off again or heat in the winter. Being able to have an alarm clock that didn't require a battery would be nice, I gave up on the microwave clock. Power is out now, and has been for 2 1/2 hours already.
I have never, ever dealt with such amazing people anywhere. Barb Burns, and Cindy Stoppa have been incredibly helpful and go above and beyond. I can't say enough about these women.
Great job getting our power back on!
