yall over charge because youre the only provider, and because its "rural" you dont have to follow any legislation, protecting consumers. not to mention the service is complete crap. we experience outages no less than once a month. this is ridiculous. youre crooks
We've lived in Marysville for over 30 years, after living in various states and counties. Union Rural is, hands down, the best electric company we have ever had. Very few outages, all of them short term, and wonderful staff. Couldn't ask for more.
I've had URE for 30 years. Very few outages. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Sam and Jake were a great crew to have today. I could not have asked for better. They gave great advise and were very patient with me. I would recommend them both!

Ure is nothing but a crock of crap! They are the only utility that services my area. And boy do they take advantage of that! Like if you are late paying your bill don't try to set up payment arrangements. They won't allow it. They would rather see their customers with no money get disconnected. Remind you I have NEVER been disconnected. I lost my disability and tried to explain thAt we were on a one person income at the moment and I was fighting to get it back... THEY DIDNT CARE!! I helped my brother switch out his meter box, and was amazing at how URE helped with the whole process. All questions were answered quickly, and they even sent someone out to meet with my brother and the county inspector in the planning phase. On the day of the switch the two linesman they sent out showed up promptly and were very friendly and professional. They made the whole process go smoothly and quickly. Thanks for everything URE.
Have dealt with other electric companies but URE is by far the best. Have never been without electric more than 3 hours (that was during an aweful ice storm). We had a line rupture in our yard and the response and support from URE was awesome. They had about 10 guys in our yard finding the issue and training new line men on the issue for future knowledge. When there is an outage I usually see a truck within 15 minutes of calling.
