I only had the clam chowder and the corn bread but both were excellent. We sat at the bar and were served right away.

Nice place. Service was a bit slow but understandable. The price and what you get is abdurd. I ordered a cold sampler. I got two oysters, two clams and only two shrimp...but it was either 11.00 or 1300... wish they had mentioned that you only get two shrimp in the menu. I felt 17.00 for 1/2 fox oysters is a bit much as well... the above mentioned food, cup of chowder and a beer, over 50.00 and still hungry. Great historical site but I won't eat here again..

I was excited to go try this awesome place but was told calling ahead to make a reservation was recommended so I was a little disappointed. We were already in the area so we stopped by to make a reservation. They were able to seat us within 15-20 minutes. We sat at the bar to wait for our table and the bar service was great. The staff was so nice. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. I can't wait to go back.

Ambiance was cool, with the history and JFK booth and all that but I think they're relying on their reputation too much. I thought it was overpriced for what you get. Average quality. Chilly service. Not impressed.
