Union Oyster House near Faneuil Hall was established in 1826 and is the oldest continually operating restaurant in the United States. Usually crowded, the restaurant is frequented by locals and tourists. The late President John F. Kennedy's favorite booth is identified by a plaque, and Daniel Webster was a fan of the oysters. While the menu includes chicken, steak and pork, seafood is its forte. The raw bar serves a variety of shellfish. Try the lobster, which is served boiled or broiled. "The oldest restaurant in America" is a waste of time and money. Overpriced, mediocre food, small portions, and a really rude guy shucking oysters at the raw bar. Stop in to take a photo and keep walking along the Freedom Trail.
Fantastic food, Fantastic service, Fantadtic ambiance!!!!!!

The Union Oyster House is the real deal. The freshest, most perfect oysters, great seafood, great bar, pleasant staff. An added bonus - amazing cornbread. Do yourself a favor...make a reservation before you go, or plan to wait a very long time - but it's worth it.
I am a lifelong New Englander and they had the best Boston baked beans I ever had. I would go back just for the beans
Omg worth every penny! This place is awesome and great people serving
