Great waitstaff, hard seats, neat place, good food!
The experience would have been better if you could get a drink while you wait. The bar is packed and they don’t any anywhere to walk up or anyone getting drunk orders while you wait. They are missing out on a lot of money because of that flaw. Service was fast once seated and the food was good. Don’t go without reservations unless you have an hour and a half to wait drinkless.

A lot of history here. Plus, the staff is great, and a great selection of local seafood.
We Arrived at 4:45 no food until 6:45. The food was good but it just took way to long to eat it.
Lot of character.. great oysters and clam chowder.. staff was great at the bar.. even said aloha when I left..
What a tremendous restaurant! A "must visit" restaurant right in the heart of Boston! Best clam chowder ever, and try the lobster ravioli!
