Our go-to restaurant in Boston and the one we always bring people to who are visiting from out of town. Love the history, the location, and the food! Always great service and nice to be able to make reservations too if needed.

Love this place. We were in Boston for a week and ate here three times! First in one of the upstairs dining rooms. Second at the Oyster Bar. And third at the main bar. Loved the food and our bartender, Gerry!

The clam chowder is great and warm cornbread when you sit down is a perfect appetizer.

Another fabulous dinner at the UoH ! I had the Glazed Salmon, my husband had the seared Shimp n Scallops, MIL had the Seafood medley pasta and BIL had the baked haddock. Everyone was very happy with their choices. For desserts we had the Indian pudding, Cheese cake and Apple crisp. Yum yum ! Our server Christina was very attentive and friendly.Looking forward to our next visit.

The food and service is exceptional. The clam chowder and colonial beer brewed there are a must. The bathroom is a bit of a mess though.
