Absolutely my favorite place to go here in Boston! You’d be crazy to not agree! Jim Sullivan is an amazing asset to this establishment! His hospitality and welcoming attitude was quite impressive! The atmosphere is 10stars! And the “ clam chowda “ is omg so good ! We returned the next day for more ! I do not have 1 bad thing to say about this place ! And make sure you say Hi to Jim Sullivan !

The atmosphere upstairs is family parlor. Cornbread was good. Portions were small. The steamers had large pieces of sand. We even rinsed them twice. Overall impression yes everyone should go for the historical aspect. Foodwise not so much.

The food was fresh and delicious. We had the oysters and lobster. Amazing. Pass on the beans, not worth filling up on those. The corn bread they give you to start is yummy.

Oysters were average and the service was slow. Place was packed and the drinks are over priced. Oysters were from Vermont...

The staff and atmosphere are amazing. The food was good, but I was impressed with the bartenders, hostesses, serving staff, and oyster bar dude. Made the experience special and fun.
