The cornbread is phenomenal. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is cool. We had great lobster and fantastic clam chowder. We would both go back just for the cornbread.

Great atmosphere and seafood. It’s much bigger and nicer than it appears at street level!

It's definitely an interesting place due to it being the oldest restaurant in Boston. The atmosphere is casual and fun. The staff is very friendly. I enjoyed watching them fish lobsters out of the big tank. I had a reservation for one, checked in about 15 minutes early, and I still waiting almost 45 minutes to be seated. The food was alright, but definitely disappointing for the price and all the hype.
