The atmosphere is awesome. Food was top notch. Our waitress has been there 40 years! definitely recommend and make reservations.
Great Food, Service, love the Authentic Look... Cannot wait to return.. Chowder Outstanding! Not to mention never even knew JFK dined there, exciting for me and My Family.
Je m’attendais à beaucoup plus de ce restaurant. Trop dispendieux $$$$ pour ce que vous avez dans votre assiette!! Le service excellent par contre et endroit historique. Je ne le recommande pas.
There was 6 in our dinner party, I had the large Lobster. Was cooked very good and the cornbread was excellent. Everyone else was disappointed with their dinner. Service was ok at the best. The place was OVER RATED! It’s a tourist trap. For such an old high priced restaurant I expected much better. Had lunch at the ORIGINAL Cheers restaurant. Much better experience.
Always a good chowder!
Food was OK. Tasty but not selfish. The lazy man's lobster was more sauce and breading than lobster. The actor was good, but oily, as was the asparagus. The potato was not hot in the center. Server, however, was great. Knowledgeable and a bit snarky...perfect Boston.
