Service was good. Love the history. Sat across from the Kennedy booth. Thought the cole slaw and batter of the seafood platter too bland. Chowder was very good! Very glad we went!
Food & service was fantastic!
The oysters were sweet and the beer was cold. All of the staff was friendly and courteous! I will be back.
The fried oysters were great.
Great food, great staff and a great city!
Great place. Great staff . A must go to place if your in Boston
Crap food in a historic building. Wife got sick from the clams. I had the most dissapointing crab cakes I've ever had. I have no idea if the folks who give this place good reviews have never had quality seafood or they just don't want to write a negative review.
Wasn’t sure about goin after some of the reviews but so happy we didn’t let them detour us. Such a cute little piece of history! The place is not very spacious but that was totally fine with us. Our waiter was awesome! We had the clam chowder and it was superb! Also had the lobster sandwich (hot) and that did not disappoint. The Sam Adams Colonial beer was pretty tasty too! Yes, it may be a tad pricey but tourist go to these places because they are a piece of history. Overall, glad we went and would go back again!
Been going there for 55 years. Used to go with my dad when I was a little girl. Would sit at the bar with him and he’d have a beer and I’d have a coke and we’d get a bowl of lobster tamale. Great memories!
