In the beginning two women, who wanted to start a business, began a "cottage industry", in the basement of a home (thus, the name). Business grew because we put ourselves and our product out in the public eye as much as possible, all civic events, art and craft shows, charitable events. I ordered a cheesecake for my best friends birthday as a gift from her husband who is currently deployed. I went in and paid for my order and asked if they could help me surprise her when we come in later after lunch. The two girls there were absolutely amazing and my best friend was so surprised. And the cheesecake? Amazing! I got myself a slice and a mini one to go and it was delicious. Cannot wait to get into the other cheesecake! I definitely can't wait to go back for lunch sometime. Amazing service and amazing food!
I visited just lasted Saturday with my nana and fell in love with the place. Love the Strawberry and cream cheese cake and the ice cream too. This is a must stop while in Traverse City along with Left Foot Charley.

I had never ordered a cheesecake before. I decided to order a custom cheesecake from your company. The cheesecake maker went out of her way to do an amazing job! Not only did it look beautiful and was the talk of the party but it was pure ecstasy eating it (and I'm not a dessert person). We are still talking about that cheesecake! Simply amazing! Thank you for going the extra mile! We will definitely order again, and again!
They catered our TCT Board meeting today and the food was fantastic!! The group were all really happy with our lunch! Thank you!!!
