I'm not sure I'm posting this on the corrected page but, on Oct 23rd we had to visit Umass pediatric emergency department. My son had and unfortunate run in with a wood splitter. He had to have most of his index finger amputated. Scary Scary stuff for mom. Not only was the staff quick, efficient and professional but, they explained things so we could understand. What an amazing stay this has been, if I didn't have back pain it'd feel like a vacation. I unfortunately have been admitted for a back injury after suffering a spinal cord injury in 2011. I have been treated as human being and my dignity has been maintained. I have not seen many doctors or PA's to be honest, however RN'S and PCA'S are everywhere.
