I don't recommend getting the ulta Card that they offer. I was talked into getting one, got approved for $750..made a purchase have a balance a lil over $200 a been making my payments on time..now my credit limit is $250..well I was told that Ulta checks your credit twice a year and they will decrease (and or close your account) your credit limit if the credit bureau has reported anything derogatory..well nothing has changed from the beginning except my bank account got hacked and I feel behind in payments on another credit ... read more

I made a purchase at Ulta on March 1, 2023. I was not satisfied with the product, so I returned it to the store for a refund on March 20, 2023 for $35.98. The original purchase was made with a **** giftcard and the remaining amount was paid with with my debit card. Without being asked or informed about the refund, I was told that the it was returned to the **** Giftcard. one of the stylists messaged me on ******** saying she could help me out with my hair. I was looking to get styled and to even out my color anyway. So I agreed to go in on Tuesday at 10:00am. We discussed color and she got to work. We talked at length about how I wanted my hair. Multiple times I stated that I don't like layers and I wanted my hair long. I asked for a specific service and the stylist added expensive services I was unaware of until I got the bill. The extra services were not necessary nor mentioned to me prior to checking out. I will never go there again.

Placed an order with a gift card and destroyed the card since there was a zero ************** out a few days later some items were out of stock and I wasnt charged the full amount. The company wouldnt do anything for the inconvenience and now Im out the difference since I dont have the gift card. Awful customer service and will never do business with them again

I went to the Ulta at ***********************, and I was not receiving any assistance during my time there. When I went to a representative, I was told that they would be able to send someone to solve my issue. They never got back to me and instead went off to help somebody at the register. I was left waiting there without any idea of what happened, because she never got back to me or even said that she couldn't help.

I went into store for a simple face serum they did not have in stock for about $33. They helped me to order it in store to have it shipped to me. I paid in store there Feb 17, then on Feb 19 another charge was taken from my account. I called to have them reverse it, where they proceeded to tell me it was just a pending charge and should fall off. I used to like Ulta but not anymore. First they cancelled my hair appointment 20 minutes before my haircut and so I rescheduled for 3 weeks later. Then 2 days before my rescheduled appointment they rescheduled my appointment for a different day and time without my permission. I will never go there again.

They are unreliable and will not be buying from them again. It is taking them far to long to give me a refund on an item that was purchased twice in error. It's going on a month now and their customer service team is pretending to be proactive about the issue, but they keep prolonging finding and issue. I hope someone investigates their business practices and processes because it is the year 2023 and things should be far more progressed than how they are operating.
