Things like this are unacceptable. That is my husbands arm. He had iv in for approximately 2 days and his arm looked like this. One nurse it was because it was air in his line. The doctors said it was because he is on high dose antibiotics. My husband has been on those same antibiotics at a different hospital and has never had a reaction like that. Even though the iv was hurting him yesterday the nurse decided it was okay to keep pushing fluids/antibiotics through it. I asked her to get the ultrasound team in his room to put... read more

It is a very sad day when a hospital has different rules for different people my nephew who drove two hours to visit his dad who is in critical condition was not allowed in the room to see his dad before dying the main nurse was rude and arrogant to us if it was her dad who is dying I’m sure she would be in the room she declined to give us the name of a nurse that gave us the wrong information about seeing his father a sad day indeed. She would not give us her name but I have her picture which I will post all over Facebook

The nurse supervisor purposefully kept us away from my husband as he is in critical condition. They would not let his son see him to say goodbye. She is demeaning and chooses who follows policy and who doesn’t! Her name is Jamie and she works on the 8th floor ICU. No compassion or concern whatsoever. I hope Karma comes around with a vengeance. If my husband passes before his son could say goodbye it will be on her to carry. Disgraceful!

You shouldn't employee pharmacy technicians who like to berate fast food workers online. Robert Humphreys needs to go.

This is unacceptable. How rude and entitled. Can only imagine how he treats patients.

Chaplain Debra Hepburn truly cares and teaches the importance of spirituality. Her knowledge and experience has been helpful to me as a patient and caused me to move forward with my education. Clinical Pastoral Education is a discipline who needs experienced educated leaders like her who work with the medical team. The training is in-depth. The experiences with patients and the medical team are priceless. Thank you Shands for caring about people’s, medical, spiritual, and religious or non religious needs by hiring trained pr... read more

UF health gave me life altering and life saving surgery when no one else would touch me due to a surgical complication at a different and unaffiliated hospital. I will forever be grateful to UF health for taking a chance on me when even mayo clinic said no. They are amazing pioneers of medicine! Special thanks to Dr. Mark Leyngold for an amazing reconstruction!

Business response:

Thank you so much for sharing, Rachael! Best wishes to you and your family.

I was referred to UF Health by my physician at Comprehensive Health due to a large mass growing in my right breast. This whole journey has been nothing but a blessing. Dr. Shaw and Dr. Chim were my surgeons. They were able to remove the mass that was not cancer. Thank God! Them along with the UF Health staff treated me better than I've ever been treated before by a medical facility. I am grateful to have been in the best hands for this procedure. I was able to go home the same day as surgery and I am currently home resting a... read more

I am currently a patient at the UF Women's Health High Risk Clinic and my experience thus far has been horrible. My OB team ignores the UF Health app when you message them, and you wait hours for an appointment while arriving EARLY for the scheduled time. Unfortunately, I'm so far into my pregnancy that I don't have another option but to wait out the rest of it with Shands. This has made for such a stressful pregnancy thus far and I feel as though I've been on my own. I get better treatment in the ER than at an office here.
