Great place, saved my life more than once. Great heart docs, and kidney docs too.
Husband has been here 2 days and feels better than he has in months under smalltown Dr care. When urgent care is needed for major organs, UAB is the place to get help and learn how to maintain a new lifestyle based on your medical needs. Cardiologist team has been great, taking patient history, listening and explaining care has been phenomenal! Nurses are very attentive, no long wait with them, they get it done! Hands down-the best!
UAB have the best facility ,the best Surgical doctors when its come to having , surgery its Clean They Are Johnny The Spot, The Nurses Are Very Nice, l Was Their For 5hrs. Yesterday Me And My Wife And All The Time I Was Their With Daughter it was always A Nurse technician by her side, and That What I like About UAB!
I am give USB four stars because they did a wonderful job with my sister heart surgery and I Thank God for that , but on the other hand parking and fine your way around is bad , that you need work on it took use two hours to fine our car and 30 minute to fine the room but other than that it was all great ever one was very nice and try help .
Waiting to have heart bypass surgery. ..have been here since this past Thursday ..already scared and nervous. .but with the excellent care I have had..and the best tasting hospital food I have ever had..and believe me..that is important in keeping your strength up..I know I couldn't be in a better place. Hospital staff..my Angels..have gone above and beyond to take care of me and try to answer any questions I may have! So while I can't thank everyone personally. .I hope you realize how important all you do is!

UAB, the doctors and all the staff are fantastic, and friendly. Everyone helps you and will personally escort you so you do not get lost. Thank God for this amazing place and it's blessing.
If I could rank it lower I would. Not very proud to be an UAB alumnus. �. Terrible job with parking and traffic. We attempted to exit a parking lot for OVER an hour and a half. UAB "police" did nothing to help alleviate the situation . If you have no idea how to coordinate an event please do not host one.
