We travel 70 miles to get the best health care here at UAB. Wouldn't consider going anywhere else.
Really wish I could give it a 0 we have been fighting billing sense February our insurance has already payed and your billing department is denying payment or forget to run our 2nd insurance I have had to call every month have been hung up on and told it’s been payed in full then I get another bill to fight the next month!!!!!!!! This isn’t even the first time we have had this problem 4 hospital stays same thing each time! I will not bring my son back! I wasn’t a student at UAB but I was a patient Aug of 1980. I had just turned twenty and had a terrible car accident. I had broke my back. At first they had sent me to the hospital in Jasper. I was so embarrassed that I covered my head with a sheet. Not thinking I heard my mother let out a scream because she thought I was dead. So I grabbed the sheet and took it off my face and she came running over to me. After sewing my head up they transferred me to UAB where I had spent two and a half weeks.
