It's insane how u guys will charge a 5 dollar per gallon fee for having less gas but can't reimburse for accidentally filling up past the fill ****

U-Haul reservation system is a joke. Dont expect to get your truck at the location you reserved it at. Dont expect to get it for the price you reserved it at. What a joke. I reserved a 20 truck a month ago. Now, today, the day before our move. They call and say they dont have the truck, but that I can get the closest one on Whidbey Island. Yea, you heard that right. We are currently relocating from ********** to Arizona and ordered a moving truck to pick up ,confirmed email was sent ,the manager in the location promised the truck would be avail for pick up as he knew we were coming from out of state.Not to worry they have everything in order for our move.On the drive in U-haul called to let us know they did NOT have a truck avail for us to pick up but they were looking for one and would let us know if they found one as we are driving all the way from ********************* staff in the *... read more

I used their company Moving Help to hire a company to bring two Uhaul boxes to load and move. Only one box was brought, but I was still charged for two. Everyone Ive talked to from the the companies have blamed the others and no one will refund my money. I would never recommend this business or moving help!

U-Haul is charging for gas, even when you fill it back up to the appropriate level. Make sure you take a picture, with your phone, of both the odometer and gas level together when you drop off a vehicle after hours. I tried to use their app to drop off, which does have you take a picture, but the app would not work for me. I failed to take my own picture so i have no one solid evidence to refute their extra $70 charge. When you do a ****** search, you will find lots of examples of this. I cancelled my storage reservation at the South *******, ** location well in advance, yet I was charged for the service and told by the ** that I had been checked in, and was sent a photo of a locked storage unit to confirm this. I tried to state that it must have been an error and that I never visited the site, but the ** at this location wouldn't hear it and hung up on me. Uhaul at ********************************************************** ripped me off, jeopardized my life and left me stranded. I rented a trailer that had two blowouts. I purchased the safe tow package. With the second blowout they refused to repair telling me the vehicle was to heavy but the online site shows the trailer would accommodate the vehicle being towed. Our keys were stolen or lost so we contacted U-Haul roadside assistance. They did everything but assist. The first driver did't show after more than three hours and it took another 1/2 to dispatch the second one. They had a 90 minute estimate, didn't show after after 2 hours so I reached out again. They told me they would contact them. After another 1/2 went by, I called them myself. they showed an hour later. Had I know, I would have contacted a locksmith myself and saved the 6+ hour ordeal, not to mention, ruining Valentin... read more

For starters, the app kept crashing and would not allow us to complete the check-in process.The van was filthy, all of the vans in the lot were filthy. There were items inside from the previous renter, including moldy coffee cups in the cupholders. This is extremely unsanitary, especially in the midst of a pandemic. The left side mirror was broken, all 4 tires needed air, and many of the engine notices were on.
