Worst communication Ive ever had. I used a Ubox to move, and it arrived a day late. No one told *** had to call and ask why it wasnt showing up. Re: Contract #******** I rented a truck to move on 3/30/2022. They quoted me $183.19 and charged me as such. But then they charged me $807.46 saying I had the truck over 24 hrs. Which is NOT TRUE. The truck was returned the same day. I had it for about 5 hrs and it was returned with gas filled. I also spoke to someone at Uhaul on April 15th to resolve this. My husband and I booked a 26-foot U-haul truck for our **** mile, multi-state move over one month in advance online. Online it stated that someone from U-hual would call us the day before our scheduled pick-up time to confirm the trucks availability at a store one-mile from our house in DC. I wish 0 stars was allowed. I had a planned Moving day. I booked moving help. I also booked Uhaul truck rental 5 days before move. I received confirmation email. I went into the online uhaul account and it said - you are all set. Now on the moving day, I called my pick up location number just as proactiveness. Never again. Truck broke down after 250 miles. ****** 6 hours for roadside in 103 heat with two dogs. It's been a week and no promised refund, no promised manager call to discuss my case, basically nothing they promised has been delivered. Do not use this company.

My latino coworker and I just went to pick up our truck from this U-Haul location for the weekend for the ****** nonprofit that we work for. Despite our confirmation email, we were told that they couldnt let us have the truck for the duration we had reserved. ****, the general manager, then told us he would make it work anyway and then changed his mind after I presented my identification as the one who would be driving the truck. We reserved a truck a month out before our move. The day of the move we get a call first saying they did not have a reservation for us. Then they changed their mind saying they found it but didn't have a truck and directed us to another location 30 minutes further out. If I could do 1/8th of a star I would. I rented a U Haul vehicle hauler in the a week and a half ago to make my final move home after 22 years in the military. My reservation was cancelled inadvertently and when I called to ask why, they quickly fixed the problem and gave me a bit off the rental so it cost me around $138.
