My son is there now and is a great tenant. However, there has been a girl living in the apartment with her boyfriend, Ryan, that doesn’t pay rent, not on the lease and has brought 3 cats to live in the apartment as well. Heather has been living there for 3 months or more .... FREE! It’s a two bedroom apartment. My son loves the convenience but since the complex is doing nothing I feel the apartment complex is breaking the lease agreement. I would move him tomorrow if I could.

The apartments have a very unfinished feel, concrete floors, plain white walls that you’re not allowed to put anything on (per lease agreement), and a giant air shaft. The cable doesn’t work half the time, internet doesn’t work most of the time, and you’re not aloud to use your own router. Hardly any parking. Staff is aloud to walk into your unit without warning or knocking. According to the leasing agreement your not aloud to have anything on the balcony including chairs. Hey there!!!! I'm looking for a female to take over my lease starting May 1st and ends August 1st (you can always renew)! My roommate is also looking for someone to take over at the same time! So if you want a friend to live with you then there is an extra room available. Rent is originally $719 BUT we are willing to pay $50 every month! It's a 4bed/4bath unit. DO NOT LIVE HERE I am a current resident at Ucentre on Fry Street and my experience has been miserable. If they’re isn’t puke all over the hallways then there is trash and it takes the cleaners at least two weeks to clean up the mess. My past roommate sold drugs in our apartment and I reported him and spoke to the manager personally and they did NOTHING. Personally I really like living here. It is right across the street from the UNT campus so I am able to walk to all my classes without dealing with university parking or paying for a parking pass. I love the free covered parking because Denton has been known to have fairly bad hail storms so the covered parking protects my car from hail damage. its a trap I'm only giving it one star just because of how secure the apartment is. do not live at any of the American campus apartments. they find any way to raise the rent and if you have a problem they make you figure it out. you are not taken seriously and they do not care about you except for your money. yeah you can walk to class but there nothing worse than living somewhere you have problem at and no one cares to fix it. management is terrible, when you sign your contract they lie to you and then once its signed you f... read more
I am currently looking for someone to take over my lease at The Republic at Denton. Convenient for TWU/UNT students. It is a 4x4 townhome. Fully furnished, has washer and dryer. There is a feeling of community here at U Centre on Fry Street! The leasing office makes sure that your living experience is fun with games, free give always, and food that we college students definitely need. The apartments themselves are spacious, up-to-date, and the upkeep is phenomenal. I'll admit the rooming price is a bit up thee compared to others around Denton; but it's well worth it to live at such a choice location on the street that stays live!
