Best Colorists – I Love my new Colorist Lenora. She really helped me pick a color to cover the gray and yet look natural. I told her I like to tan in the summer and she told me how she would adjust the color. I was very happy to be treated with such respect. She is a shinning star at Twodo.

Cheap Price but HORRIBLE Cut – I was looking for a convenient place close to where I lived and I saw the great reviews so I decided to give the place a chance. My experience - horrible. Maybe they're better for color but it was hands down the WORST hair cut I have ever gotten in Manhattan. The prices are really cheap by Manhattan standards but it wasn't worth it at all. The stylist just didn't know how to cut hair well. I never write reviews, but this place is once step (if at all) above Super Cuts. I also didn't find the at... read more

Best hair cut and color and attitude in New York City – I love this place; I love the fact it's not too fancy and not snotty at all. I get the best cuts from Art, the best color from Susannah, the best shampoos, manicutres and am always greeted kindly by the desk staff. I come in from St. Louis to come here, have sent my daughters who live in NYC and they've sent their friends. Who needs fancy Frederick and Bumble etc. when you can get great quality, great attitude, reasonable though not cheap prices and good coffee, tea, wa... read more

I have been going to Bumble & Bumble on the Upper East Side for the last 6 years. My stylist, Kat, has always done a fantastic job on my long brunette hair, until I asked her to give me a "short bob". This was a disaster. She spent about 10 minutes total on cutting my hair. It looked harsh and awful by the end. I shelled out $130 for it!! I know, shame on me for not speaking up. So then I went BACK about 5 weeks later, thinking that 1 time out of 30 cuts was a fluke. Same spastic energy. Running back and forth to other clien... read more

Whats All The Hype About.? – I went to this salon because of all the high ratings. It was such a hole in the wall of a salon. I was not a happy camper. Eveyone from the front desk to the stylist were not nice at all. My cut and color were nothing to brag about. I did not like the vibes in the place. Everyone was so stuck up and in a hurry. The girl who colored my hair was not very social. The girl who cut my hair didn't speak much english. I left there very unhappy. I would not recommended this salon to anyone. Save your mon... read more

What's The Big Twodo? – I wish I did my research before I went to this salon. I ended up with Lenora. She seemed to be nice at first, but it was very fake. She was very unprofessional, she was taking her time while she was highlighting my hair. She was talking to other employees during the whole process. I felt like I was there forever. When she was finally finished, my highlights were horrible. I ran out of there so fast, and went to my colorist on the upper east side. If you deside to go to this salon, I suggest you do you... read more

Great salon – I like this place a lot - it's small, so there aren't a ton of crazy people running around. Everyone is friendly and the space is beautiful. I will for sure go back to TwoDo to get my hair cut.

BEST COLOR EVER...!!!!!!!!!! – Anthony is amazing..!!!!! I've been to many salons in the past, and no one was able to give me such natural looking highlights ever. I would always end up with brassy hair and big stripes. Anthonys technique was very diffrent than any other colorist I've been to. I have brown hair, and everyone else would give me a single prosses and than highights. Anthony started with the highlights and than put lowlights. I can't stop looking at my hair. He made my day. Thank you so much Anthony for making m... read more

Glad a friend recommended this place – Went to get my hair cut a couple of weeks ago, and had a wonderful experience. After spending a lot of money over the years at Bumble and Bumble, where I got expensive cuts that were inconsistent, I went on the recommendation of a friend to have Sasha cut my hair at Two Do. And I am thrilled I did. She is really fantastic, spent a lot of time discussing what kind of cut would work for me, and recommended a product to me that actually works in controlling my frizz!
