a hidden gem – As a jaded New Yorker, I didn't believe a place right in my neighborhood with reasonable prices (for NY) and convenient evening hours could be as good as the reviews on this site indicate, but it was. The thank-you note I got in the mail after my first appointment was really just icing on the cake, as I had already decided to return.
makeover extraordinaire – My husband surprised with a makeover at Twodo and it was more than I could have asked for. The staff was more than helpful, talented, and an overall pleasure to work with. They listened to my needs and gave me a style that worked for me. They also provided great tips and advice for me. It was a wonderful escape. Thank you Megan, Art, Heidi, Alejandra, and Joanne for perfecting my look. Thanks to everyone who made my day a success!
Do too! – I was very skeptical. As a newcomer to the city and after leaving a solid and committed 4-year love affair with my previous beau-tician I thought it would take more than a quickie re-bound...but I'm hooked. The people and the friendly atmosphere were both just icing on the cake...I have loved my new do, color and feel ready and convinced that the past was just preparation for what is now a new and elevated relationship!
Awsome Salon – For valantines day, I booked a manicure, highlight cut and style at Twodo Salon. I found this salon here on Citysearch. I e-mailed Kevin one of the owners my wifes picture. They promptly called me back. I then set up the highlights with Alejandra and the cut and style with Anji. Absolutely The Best Haircut I Ever Had! – I searched all over New York for a place to have my hair makeover done. I gave TwoDo a call and they were eager to fulfill my makeover wish. Heather was very helpful in getting me in. Megan actually called me to discuss my hair and expectations. Art gave me the absolute best cut I've ever had! What a hidden gem! – I live on the upper west side and was looking for a quality salon in my neighborhood. This was perfect. I got the best wash and cut, and the atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming (they even have a backyard!) A find that I will return to again and again, and recommend it to all my friends.
Art Rocks!!! – I went to TwoDo Salon a couple of months ago and I couldn't be happier. My hair was a multi-colored, dry and damaged mess. Art asked me what I wanted, LISTENED to what I had to say, and went on to give me a terrific haircut. He gave me wonderful advice on how to care for my hair. The Best in Over 20 Years! – I am an ICU nurse and work in a hospital on Long Island with most of the same staff for over 20 years. My daughters live in Brooklyn, and we like to meet in Manhattan to try out different salons and spas. After our visit to TwoDo, we don't want to go anywhere else! Overrated – I considered this salon a splurge (normally I go to Jeffrey Stein). The woman who cut my hair seemed to pay no mind to my requests and proceeded to give me a horrible haircut. I have fine curly hair and she gave me a cut for someone with thick straight hair. It is the worst hair cut I've ever had and I am still growing it out. When I had it fixed at a salon in L.A. (for $80 for cut and highlights), the wonderful woman who cut my hair couldn't believe how badly my hair had been cut.
