yuck! – I live in San Francisco and visited Atlanta for a couple of weeks. Fortunately I went to many restaurants in Atlanta other than Twist during my visit otherwise I would have thought that the food in Atlanta was boring! Twist was so disappointing but everywhere else I went in Atlanta was wonderful! A beautiful restaurant doesn't mean that the food or service are any good!

I've been here several times and I really like this place. The sushi is very good. I'm delighted to have another restaurant at Phipps. The fried calamari is exceptionally good as well and I really liked all of the tapas items.

disappointed – Don't believe the crowds - a very disappointing experience. Of the eight glasses, FIVE had lipstick on them! Cuisine was anything but innovative and service was embarassingly spotty. Give them a few months and maybe the food & service will be able to match the beautiful atmosphere. Atlanta has *much* better to offer.

Disappointing! – Ugh, it was terrible! The bar is big and the lighting is good, but it was waaay too loud. I felt like I was at a concert. For dinner, we were seated practically in the mall; I felt like I was dining at Cutter & Buck, which probably would have been a more pleasant experience. It was SO loud my friend and I had to practically scream to hear each other. I ordered the seabass entree which tasted like a wet kleenex drenched in the saltiest "ginger" soy sauce I've ever eaten! I've heard the tapas and sushi are goo... read more

a seesaw – trendy, modern decor, gorgeous serving dishes, prompt service.however, the food lacked authenticity-unremarkable in flavor, though some dishes (the fried calamari salad and pressed chicken sandwich) were innovative and worth trying. the tapas need work: a good idea but mediocre in quality.

Great Twist! – Here to Serve Restaurants always do a good job. Goldfish is always consistent, Tom TOm and Prime and Noche are fine. Twist suffers from the terrible noise level that Goldfish does too...bad acoutiscs. But Twist is cool-looking, has a good young crowd, and with the great tapas selections, it's a great place for happy hour, dinner, or late night. Tapas are generally good; service was good. I suggest using OpenTable for reservations - if you just head there, you will wait. It is SO busy for a new place. Martinis ... read more

Best spot north of South Beach! – Very trendy and posh ... reminds me of the South Beach scene. We decided to forgo the hour wait for a table and eat at the bar. Bartenders were very efficient and provided excellent and friendly service. While the salads sound better the way they are described in the menu than they actually taste ... the vegetables were bitter and the dressing was tasteless and runny! We enjoyed the tapas and the sushi was very good. If you like mussels ... they serve the largest I have ever seen!!! Overall,... read more

not so cool.. – Place looks good, decent entree's, terrible selection of tapas. Sushi is decent.. Bartenders need to learn manners, they serve the booze in the wrong glasses. Drinks are way too expensive and they cannot, repeat cannot make a MOJITO.. at all. I have tried several..
