Editorial fromCavernous Twist, hosting 300 seats, attracts legions of twenty-somethings who seem unperturbed by the noise level, even though it makes table conversation difficult. Antidote: Go early, before the movie or shopping. Twist works as a tapas…

Out of Control Manager!!! STAY AWAY – My friend and I went out after a hard day to Phipps mall and decided to watch a movie and get dinner at Twist.... we got to the restaurant and asked to be seated at 9pm. We were told that they stopped serving dinner and that if we wanted we could take a seat at the bar and get drinks... hungry and tired... we tried to check out the other restaurants .... unfortunatley couldnt find anything we could agree on.. so we just went back to Twist and decided to get a few drinks... when we starte... read more
Overpriced – We went with a group of people from my office. It was a nice atmosphere, we went on Monday night and the 1/2 price wine special was great. The food, however, was very expensive. Even the tapas was a little pricey. My husband got a special, I got Paella, which was a good price for $20 (it would easily feed 2) but it was very bland and had no flavor. People across from me got a steak for $30---with nothing else. This place is very average, but for the price, I much prefer Two Urban Licks or for tapas, Sabroso. Bot... read more
Pretty good food, but a little loud! – This place was pretty good. Let us start with the scene. A great scene located inside Phipps Plaza, but the one thing that is a mess about this place is the noise. Wow, this place needs to find a way to keep the people a little bit more quiet. Plus, there was a teenage girls birthday party going on right behind the sushi bar, which the noise from that was cutting through my brain like nails. Other than the noise the food was tasty and I enjoyed the sushi, but the prices did not match th... read more
Great Martini Hour! Small Plates, Sassy Service, and Fun! – We've been going to Twist since the day they opened. In fact we are a fan of Prime, the sister restaurant by Tom Catherall, across the street at Lenox Square also. If it's around five, and you need to unwind, from working those credit cards, drop in here for a drink. We love those daily $5.00 Martini Specials, but just usually get our Dirty Grey's. Small plates are tasty, and if you like, you can make a meal out of them. Love the Satays, and Mussels. Staff is fun an... read more
Disrespectful treatment by manager, unresponsive organization – I used to be a frequent patron of Here to Serve, but no longer. Please don't patronize Twist, Shout, Strip, Prime, Noche, Goldfish, Shout, or any other restaurant they choose to open. After a dinner with several friends at Twist, we were asked to move to the bar area when they closed the dining area. In the process, a full drink was removed by the staff too early. Despite the amount we had spent and intended to continue to spend, the manager refused to replace i... read more
cool setting – while the food is good and the setting even better, there are definitely certain nights here which are better than others..friday night seems to be meat-market night..as you walk in, there are gents lined up along the little walkway inside the restaurant pretty much drooling at every woman coming in...sat night is definitely better, nicer crowd...in any case, the place is always lively and the sushi/satays/martinis are awesome...grest service always!!!
Food and Service was SUPERB...We'll be back! – I went to Twist this past Satruday with a co-worker (we were in from Miami on business). We originally went for the sushi, but ended up feasting on several dishes including an amazing dish of plantains and grilled Georgia Peaches (so worth the wait...thanks to the Twist staff for going out of their way for us!!) The house Cabernet was terrific, the atmosphere was rocking and our server, Derrick, was the best! Kudos to the rest of the staff who kept our water glasses full and our... read more
great tapas! – The food is great here. It's my favorite place to get sushi near Lenox. There's a fun and lively atmosphere, and the dj usually plays good music.
Half Price Wine Monday – Half price wine is a must on Mondays. The food/sushi is good and service ranges from good to great. Can't beat the prices.
