Editorial fromCavernous Twist, hosting 300 seats, attracts legions of twenty-somethings who seem unperturbed by the noise level, even though it makes table conversation difficult. Antidote: Go early, before the movie or shopping. Twist works as a tapas…

Bad Restaurant, Overpriced, Worst Service, End of Story! The managers don't care about you. The servers are incompetent and the serving sizes aren't worth the price tags.
Incredible Food! – I have visited TWIST every month since moving to Atlanta (2 years ago) and have always enjoyed the food. Every dish I have tried has been excellent and I would highly recommend the food.....however, the experience I had last time might prevent me from returning. I sat at the bar, as I normally do, with my boss. The drink menu was sticky and looked like it was designed by my fourth grader. We ate, chatted, and when we were ready to leave -could not get our bill. It seems the "bar manager" was too busy takin... read more
Great food & Drinks – I am a regular at Twist. Whenever I have friends visiting Atl or just hanging with friends here we are always happy with Twist. We get many small potions of food(usually around $8) and share, talk, then order more food. The drinks are great too. My favorites are the tempura shrimp(light & fresh with great dipping sauce), california roll(fresh and delish), molten chocolate cake(small portion but hot, creamy goodness). I don't order the entrees, I prefer the tapas. It is a fun...good drinks....great food ... read more
just average. – Twist is ok. The food is average. Not exactly blan but nothing that makes your taste buds wonder off into space. This place is way too loud for my liking also. It is very crowded bringing in many Phipps shoppers and people who like paying $$ for the tasteless food.
It used to be a favorite...but now we won't go back – My husband and I have been dining at Twist for about 5 years. It was a great date spot for dinner and a movie before we were married, and then became a celebration stop for new jobs or birthdays. Last night was our last time there though. We were seated promptly at our reservation time, but after waiting 15 minutes I had to flag down a manager to get someone to come to the table. Over the years, the service has always been pretty spotty, but this was the worst. She got ou... read more
I can't believe people gave this place 5 stars – My sister and I tried Twist for our b-day celebrations. It is average at best. Our server was nice and very prompt, and the area we sat in (the lounge) was spacious and the overall feeling of the place was very trendy. But the food was very bland and lacked authentic tapas taste (stick to Eclipse di Luna). It is also very loud! You will have to yell at others sitting at your table. But waitress did give us a free cake for our b-day; a nice finishing touch.
Wouldn't come back. – I went here with a few cousins because they heard about it and we were all pretty indecisive about where we wanted to eat that day. They told me they served small plates of interesting food so I wanted to check it out. The service was okay but not great. It was hard to choose from the entre menu because all of the food sounded nasty, I guess I'm a picky eater. And once it came our food was definitely COLD. I wouldn't come back or suggest the restaurant to a friend.
YAWN – Nothing to write home about - the food is mediocre and too pricey -- the atmosphere is just boring - but for some reason this seems to be the "it" place to be--- one question --- WHY have been there multiiple times with friends picking the place - there are better places to drop your cash - tapas are lame - sorry twist -- no go oh they do make a good martini and the wait staff is friendly
Try It Out! – My date and I tried out Twist recently on a Friday night. The atmosphere was exactly what we expected - loud, bright, modern, and busy. When we were finally able to grab a seat at the bar, the bartender was excellent. After a short wait we were seated. The hostess staff was nice and accurate with our wait time. Our waiter arrived seeming a bit distant and frazzled, but he handled our order promptly and appropriately. The menu is vast with choices. The sushi was excellent! The cost is on the price side perhaps, ... read more
