Pasadena True Value Hardware is a Wonderful Resource for Do It Yourselfers! Excellent place to get quality paint. The folks are very knowledgeable and friendly. I own several homes and usually shop their whenever I am working on a paint-related project.
Great service! I love to shop here. Really friendly staff and great selection. I would highly recommend to all and look forward to visiting again in the near future.
Small, very small This small hardware store can't compete with the big guys, Lowes and Home Depot. You may be able to get what you need in a pinch, but you may not. The selection is sparse.

Happy Customer I've been shopping at this True Value for 7 years and always had great service. I've seen customers who were plainly idiots blame the staff for their own failures to measure, read directions and generally think intelligently about their projects. And no, I don't work for the store. I'm just a local resident who's relied on the staff at this store more than a few times and always gotten good service. Neighborhood hardware store I come here because it is much closer than any other hardware store, but that is about the only reason (other than it is right next to Smart and Final). The prices are a bit high but not too bad. I've received some unfriendly service from the registers here. Maybe they were just tired after having to work in the hot store all day, but man were they unfriendly. PROS: Close to where I live CONS: Unfriendly employees
Emergencies Only This small store is crammed with as much merchandise as it can fit, but it makes finding just the right item a doubtful long-shot. For big projects, I have to drive to the big warehouse hardware stores. I come here when I need an item or two around the house and am pressed for time. PROS: Quick trip, good service CONS: Limited inventory
Great paint selection. Carry full stock of Benjamin Moore, Devine and TrueValue - colors and finishes.
