If you have an urgent cardiac incident go some place else. This facility does not know how to triage unless the problem can be identified by a monkey. Left over 3 hours in a chair with crushing chest pain radiating down her arm, my daughter had to go to Vanderbuilt for care. She was admitted immediately upon arrival. This is a horrible place and neglects really sick people. Would NEVER come here and literally my child had to run for her life.

I want to say that my experience here at Summit Hospital is the best ever. I came on Friday feeling so bad and was taken right in the ER and care started from the moment I arrived! The nurses have went above and beyond. The Doctors were good too but I only saw them once a day!!! Best Nurses ever are Bobby and Shanna in the ER, and night nurse tag team of Amber and Cali and Niana, and Susan and Calliope during the day! All from the 6th floor nurses station!!! Summit is a great hospital. The medical staff make the patients comfort while treating and finding diagnosising patients illness to find cure and treatment.

What the tell you procedures cost and what they actually bill insurance are two separate things. Get everything in writing and notarized. If you have billing questions or concerns, do not expect to be contacted back, ever. Nursing staff is only redeeming quality but it does not make up for being misled about facility costs.
