Being refused an interpreter at this very moment. Apparently the entire nursing staff is ignorant of the ADA. I shouldn’t have to fight for effective communication while at the hospital. Apparently it’s too late in the day to be deaf and I’ll have to wait until tomorrow.
I want to thank the trauma team and all the nurses, techs, dietary, housekeepers of the 7th floor and the ER staff for doing a great job of taking care of my son. I can never thank you enough. Y'all are amazing!!!
This Er has become a joke in what they call the intake/fast track. I have serious heart and lung issues and with the exception of being brought in by EMS in serious shape the care is horrible. Tonight I saw a PA named Lucas who was the most condescending person I ever met. It wasn't like I was "drug seeking" I could not breathe. Big difference. They are doing an awesome job with my aunt and the only hosp we that has experience with her diesease they have been awesome. I wouldnt want her no where else.
If I could give zero stars I would. The only reason we are here is because this is where our hip surgeon has his practice. My husband had a total hip replacement this past Wednesday and the hospital staff that we have dealt with all need to be fired. For the first 24 hours he was never given his IV pain meds and was in excruciating pain. We've had to call for a nurse at least twice before they come in. The service was wonderful however it has taken up to several hours to get my fathers discharge paper work processed. It was 8AM when he was unofficial discharge by the doctor. They just had to complete the paperwork. It is now almost 2PM and they are still processing his paper work. This wait time the is unacceptable. Would have given them 5 stars but for the wait time I'm giving 3.
